Developed through the expertise of UC’s Faculty of Business, Government and Law and the Discipline of Disability and Community Health, this course combines disability sector knowledge with contemporary leadership, governance and strategy perspectives. This interdisciplinary approach helps professionals strengthen their capability to lead organisations, improve services and drive positive change across the disability sector.

What you will study
This course is designed to build practical, applied leadership capability through a structured set of postgraduate units focused on disability, community, and human services contexts. You will develop core leadership capability alongside specialist elective options that allow you to tailor your study to your career goals, whether in service delivery, organisational improvement, or strategic leadership.
Each unit is delivered over 7 weeks, with a recommended weekly study commitment of 15 to 20 hours. The structure is designed to support flexible, part-time study for working professionals.

- Recognised bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or
- 3 years of relevant professional work experience.
Relevant professional experience may include roles across disability services, government, community organisations, advocacy groups, policy, social services, healthcare, education or other sectors where you have contributed to supporting people, communities, programs or services.
